| 17:1 | Then He said to the disciples, "It is impossible that no offenses should come, but woe to him through whom they do come!" | Then said he unto the disciples, It is impossible but that offences will come: but woe unto him, through whom they come! |
| 17:2 | It would be better for him if a millstone were hung around his neck, and he were thrown into the sea, than that he should offend one of these little ones." | It were better for him that a millstone were hanged about his neck, and he cast into the sea, than that he should offend one of these little ones. |
| 17:3 | Take heed to yourselves. If your brother sins against you, rebuke him; and if he repents, forgive him." | Take heed to yourselves: If thy brother trespass against thee, rebuke him; and if he repent, forgive him. |
| 17:4 | And if he sins against you seven times in a day, and seven times in a day returns to you, saying, 'I repent,' you shall forgive him." | And if he trespass against thee seven times in a day, and seven times in a day turn again to thee, saying, I repent; thou shalt forgive him. |
| 17:5 | And the apostles said to the Lord, "Increase our faith." | And the apostles said unto the Lord, Increase our faith. |
| 17:6 | But the Lord said, "If you have faith as a mustard seed, you can say to this mulberry tree, 'Be pulled up by the roots and be planted in the sea,' and it would obey you." | And the Lord said, If ye had faith as a grain of mustard seed, ye might say unto this sycamine tree, Be thou plucked up by the root, and be thou planted in the sea; and it should obey you. |
| 17:7 | And which of you, having a servant plowing or feeding cattle, shall say to him at the end when he has come in from the field, 'Come at once and sit down to eat'?" | But which of you, having a servant plowing or feeding cattle, will say unto him by and by, when he is come from the field, Go and sit down to meat? |
| 17:8 | But will he not rather say to him, 'Prepare something for my supper, and gird yourself and serve me until I have eaten and drunk, and afterward you will eat and drink'?" | And will not rather say unto him, Make ready wherewith I may sup, and gird thyself, and serve me, till I have eaten and drunken; and afterward thou shalt eat and drink? |
| 17:9 | Does he thank that servant because he did the things that were commanded him? I think not." | Doth he thank that servant because he did the things that were commanded him? I trow not. |
| 17:10 | So likewise you, when you have done all those things which you are commanded, say, 'We are unprofitable servants. | 17:23 | And they will say to you, 'See here!' or 'See there!' Do not go after them or follow them." | And they shall say to you, See here; or, see there: go not after them, nor follow them. |
| 17:24 | Because, as the lightning that flashes out of one part under heaven shines to the other part under heaven, so also the Son of Man will be in His day." | For as the lightning, that lighteneth out of the one part under heaven, shineth unto the other part under heaven; so shall also the Son of man be in his day. |
| 17:25 | But first He must suffer many things and be rejected by this generation." | But first must he suffer many things, and be rejected of this generation. |
