8:11And they heeded him because he had seduced them with his sorceries for a long time. And to him they had regard, because that of long time he had bewitched them with sorceries.
8:12But when they believed Philip as he preached the things concerning the kingdom of God and the name of Jesus Christ, both men and women were baptized. But when they believed Philip preaching the things concerning the kingdom of God, and the name of Jesus Christ, they were baptized, both men and women.
8:13Then Simon himself also believed; and when he was baptized he continued with Philip, and was amazed, seeing the miracles and signs which were done. Then Simon himself believed also: and when he was baptized, he continued with Philip, and wondered, beholding the miracles and signs which were done.

8:16Because as yet He had fallen upon none of them. They had only been baptized in the name of the Lord Jesus.(For as yet he was fallen upon none of them: only they were baptized in the name of the Lord Jesus.)
8:17Then they laid their hands on them, and they received the Holy Spirit. Then laid they their hands on them, and they received the Holy Ghost.

8:19saying, "Give me this authority also, that whoever I lay hands upon, they may receive the Holy Spirit."Saying, Give me also this power, that on whomsoever I lay hands, he may receive the Holy Ghost.

8:21You have neither part nor portion in this matter, because your heart is not right in the sight of God.Thou hast neither part nor lot in this matter: for thy heart is not right in the sight of God.
8:22Therefore repent of this your wickedness, and ask God if perhaps the thought of your heart may be forgiven you.Repent therefore of this thy wickedness, and pray God, if perhaps the thought of thine heart may be forgiven thee.
8:23Because I perceive that you are poisoned by bitterness and bound by iniquity."For I perceive that thou art in the gall of bitterness, and in the bond of iniquity.
8:24Then Simon replied and said, "Pray to the Lord for me, that none of the things which you have spoken should come upon me."Then answered Simon, and said, Pray ye to the Lord for me, that none of these things which ye have spoken come upon me.
8:8And there was great joy in that city. And there was great joy in that city.
8:7Because, unclean spirits, shouting with a loud voice, came out of many who were possessed with them; and many who were paralyzed and lame were healed. For unclean spirits, crying with loud voice, came out of many that were possessed with them: and many taken with palsies, and that were lame, were healed.
8:6And the people with one accord heeded the things spoken by Philip, hearing and seeing the miracles which he did.And the people with one accord gave heed unto those things which Philip spake, hearing and seeing the miracles which he did.

8:35Then Philip opened his mouth, and beginning at this Scripture, preached Jesus to him. Then Philip opened his mouth, and began at the same scripture, and preached unto him Jesus.
8:36Now as they went on their way, they came to some water. And the eunuch said, "Look, here is water. What hinders me from being baptized?"And as they went on their way, they came unto a certain water: and the eunuch said, See, here is water; what doth hinder me to be baptized?
8:37Then Philip said, "If you believe with all your heart, you may." And he replied and said, "I believe that Jesus Christ is the Son of God."And Philip said, If thou believest with all thine heart, thou mayest. And he answered and said, I believe that Jesus Christ is the Son of God.
8:38So he commanded the chariot to stand still. And they went down into the water, both Philip and the eunuch, and he baptized him.And he commanded the chariot to stand still: and they went down both into the water, both Philip and the eunuch; and he baptized him.
8:39Now when they came up out of the water, the Spirit of the Lord caught Philip away, so that the eunuch did not see him any longer; and he went on his way rejoicing. And when they were come up out of the water, the Spirit of the Lord caught away Philip, that the eunuch saw him no more: and he went on his way rejoicing.
