8:9 | But there was a certain man called Simon, who previously practiced sorcery in the same city and seduced the people of Samaria, claiming that he was some great one, | But there was a certain man, called Simon, which beforetime in the same city used sorcery, and bewitched the people of Samaria, giving out that himself was some great one: |

8:24 | Then Simon replied and said, "Pray to the Lord for me, that none of the things which you have spoken should come upon me." | Then answered Simon, and said, Pray ye to the Lord for me, that none of these things which ye have spoken come upon me. |
