13:10and said, "O full of all deceit and all fraud, you child of the devil, you enemy of all righteousness, will you not cease perverting the right ways of the Lord?And said, O full of all subtilty and all mischief, thou child of the devil, thou enemy of all righteousness, wilt thou not cease to pervert the right ways of the Lord?
13:11And now, behold, the hand of the Lord is upon you, and you will be blind, not seeing the sun for a season." And immediately a mist fell on him and darkness, and he went around seeking someone to lead him by the hand.And now, behold, the hand of the Lord is upon thee, and thou shalt be blind, not seeing the sun for a season. And immediately there fell on him a mist and a darkness; and he went about seeking some to lead him by the hand.
13:12Then the proconsul believed, when he saw what had been done, being astonished at the doctrine of the Lord.Then the deputy, when he saw what was done, believed, being astonished at the doctrine of the Lord.
13:13Now when Paul and his company set sail from Paphos, they came to Perga in Pamphylia; and John, departing from them, returned to Jerusalem.Now when Paul and his company loosed from Paphos, they came to Perga in Pamphylia: and John departing from them returned to Jerusalem.

13:16Then Paul stood up, and motioning with his hand said, "Men of Israel, and you who reverence God, pay attention:Then Paul stood up, and beckoning with his hand said, Men of Israel, and ye that fear God, give audience.

13:18Now for a time of about forty years He endured with their ways in the wilderness.And about the time of forty years suffered he their manners in the wilderness.

13:21And afterward they desired a king; so God gave them Saul the son of Kish, a man of the tribe of Benjamin, for the period of forty years.And afterward they desired a king: and God gave unto them Saul the son of Cis, a man of the tribe of Benjamin, by the space of forty years.
13:22And when He had removed him, He raised up for them David to be their king, to whom also He gave testimony and said, 'I have found David the son of Jesse, a man after My own heart, who will fulfill all My will.'And when he had removed him, he raised up unto them David to be their king; to whom also he gave testimony, and said, I have found David the son of Jesse, a man after mine own heart, which shall fulfil all my will.
13:23From this man's seed, according to His promise, has God raised up for Israel a Savior, Jesus;Of this man's seed hath God according to his promise raised unto Israel a Saviour, Jesus:
13:24after John had first preached, before His coming, the baptism of repentance to all the people of Israel.When John had first preached before his coming the baptism of repentance to all the people of Israel.
13:25And as John fulfilled his course, he said, 'Who do you think I am? I am not He. But behold, there comes One after me, the sandals of His feet I am not worthy to loose.'And as John fulfilled his course, he said, Whom think ye that I am? I am not he. 13:26"Men and brethren, children of the family of Abraham, and those among you who reverence God, to you the word of this salvation has been sent.Men and brethren, children of the stock of Abraham, and whosoever among you feareth God, to you is the word of this salvation sent.
13:27Because, those who dwell in Jerusalem, and their rulers, since they did not know Him, nor even the voices of the Prophets which are read every Sabbath day, have fulfilled them in condemning Him.For they that dwell at Jerusalem, and their rulers, because they knew him not, nor yet the voices of the prophets which are read every sabbath day, they have fulfilled them in condemning him.
13:28And though they found no reason for death in Him, they asked Pilate that He should be killed.And though they found no cause of death in him, yet desired they Pilate that he should be slain.
13:29Now when they had fulfilled all that was written concerning Him, they took Him down from the tree and laid Him in a tomb.And when they had fulfilled all that was written of him, they took him down from the tree, and laid him in a sepulchre.
13:30But God raised Him from the dead.But God raised him from the dead:
13:31He was seen for many days by those who came up with Him from Galilee to Jerusalem, who are His witnesses to the people.And he was seen many days of them which came up with him from Galilee to Jerusalem, who are his witnesses unto the people.
13:32And we declare to you glad tidings; how that promise which was made to the fathers,And we declare unto you glad tidings, how that the promise which was made unto the fathers,
13:33God has fulfilled this for us their children, in that He has raised up Jesus again. As it is also written in the second Psalm: 'You are My Son, today I have begotten You.'God hath fulfilled the same unto us their children, in that he hath raised up Jesus again; as it is also written in the second psalm, Thou art my Son, this day have I begotten thee.
13:34And concerning how He raised Him from the dead, now no more to return to corruption, He has spoken in this way: 'I will give you the sure mercies of David.'And as concerning that he raised him up from the dead, now no more to return to corruption, he said on this wise, I will give you the sure mercies of David.
13:35Therefore He also says in another Psalm: 'You will not allow Your Holy One to see corruption.'Wherefore he saith also in another psalm, Thou shalt not suffer thine Holy One to see corruption.
13:36"Because David, after he had served his own generation by the will of God, fell asleep, was buried with his fathers, and saw corruption;For David, after he had served his own generation by the will of God, fell on sleep, and was laid unto his fathers, and saw corruption:
13:37but He whom God raised up saw no corruption.But he, whom God raised again, saw no corruption.
13:38Therefore let it be known to you, men and brethren, that through this Man is preached to you the forgiveness of sins;Be it known unto you therefore, men and brethren, that through this man is preached unto you the forgiveness of sins:
13:39and by Him everyone who believes is justified from all things from which you could not be justified by the law of Moses.And by him all that believe are justified from all things, from which ye could not be justified by the law of Moses.
13:40Beware therefore, lest what has been spoken in the prophets come upon you:Beware therefore, lest that come upon you, which is spoken of in the prophets;
13:41'Behold, you despisers, marvel and perish! Because, I work a work in your days, a work which you will by no means believe, though one were to declare it to you.'"Behold, ye despisers, and wonder, and perish: for I work a work in your days, a work which ye shall in no wise believe, though a man declare it unto you.
13:8But Elymas the sorcerer (for so his name is translated) opposed them, seeking to turn the proconsul away from the faith.But Elymas the sorcerer (for so is his name by interpretation) withstood them, seeking to turn away the deputy from the faith.
13:7who was with the proconsul of the country, Sergius Paulus, a prudent man. This man called for Barnabas and Saul and sought to hear the word of God.Which was with the deputy of the country, Sergius Paulus, a prudent man; who called for Barnabas and Saul, and desired to hear the word of God.
13:6Now when they had gone through the island to Paphos, they found a certain sorcerer, a false prophet, a Jew whose name was Barjesus,And when they had gone through the isle unto Paphos, they found a certain sorcerer, a false prophet, a Jew, whose name was Barjesus:
13:5And when they arrived in Salamis, they preached the word of God in the synagogues of the Jews. They also had John as their assistant.And when they were at Salamis, they preached the word of God in the synagogues of the Jews: and they had also John to their minister.
13:4So, being sent out by the Holy Spirit, they departed to Seleucia, and from there they sailed to Cyprus.So they, being sent forth by the Holy Ghost, departed unto Seleucia; and from thence they sailed to Cyprus.

13:42So when the Jews had gone out of the synagogue, the Gentiles begged that these words might be preached to them the next Sabbath.And when the Jews were gone out of the synagogue, the Gentiles besought that these words might be preached to them the next sabbath.
13:43Now when the congregation had broken up, many of the Jews and devout proselytes followed Paul and Barnabas, who, speaking to them, persuaded them to continue in the grace of God.Now when the congregation was broken up, many of the Jews and religious proselytes followed Paul and Barnabas: who, speaking to them, persuaded them to continue in the grace of God.
13:44And the next Sabbath day almost the entire city came together to hear the word of God.And the next sabbath day came almost the whole city together to hear the word of God.
13:45But when the Jews saw the crowds, they were filled with envy; and contradicting and blaspheming, they spoke against the things spoken by Paul.But when the Jews saw the multitudes, they were filled with envy, and spake against those things which were spoken by Paul, contradicting and blaspheming.
13:46Then Paul and Barnabas grew bold and said, "It was necessary that the word of God should be spoken to you first; but since you reject it, and judge yourselves unworthy of everlasting life, behold, we turn to the Gentiles.Then Paul and Barnabas waxed bold, and said, It was necessary that the word of God should first have been spoken to you: but seeing ye put it from you, and judge yourselves unworthy of everlasting life, lo, we turn to the Gentiles.
13:47Because, so has the Lord commanded us, saying 'I have set you as a light to the Gentiles, that you should exist for salvation to the ends of the earth.'"For so hath the Lord commanded us, saying, I have set thee to be a light of the Gentiles, that thou shouldest be for salvation unto the ends of the earth.
13:48Now when the Gentiles heard this, they were glad and glorified the word of the Lord. And as many as believed were ordained to eternal life.And when the Gentiles heard this, they were glad, and glorified the word of the Lord: and as many as were ordained to eternal life believed.
13:49And the word of the Lord was being spread throughout the entire region.And the word of the Lord was published throughout all the region.
13:50But the Jews stirred up the devout and prominent women and the chief men of the city, raised up persecution against Paul and Barnabas, and expelled them from their region.But the Jews stirred up the devout and honourable women, and the chief men of the city, and raised persecution against Paul and Barnabas, and expelled them out of their coasts.
13:51But they shook off the dust from their feet against them, and came to Iconium.But they shook off the dust of their feet against them, and came unto Iconium.
