28:1At the end of the Sabbath, as the first day of the week began to dawn, Mary Magdalene and the other Mary came to see the tomb.In the end of the sabbath, as it began to dawn toward the first day of the week, came Mary Magdalene and the other Mary to see the sepulchre.
28:2And behold, there was a large earthquake; because, the angel of the Lord descended from heaven and came and rolled back the stone from the door, and sat on it.And, behold, there was a great earthquake: for the angel of the Lord descended from heaven, and came and rolled back the stone from the door, and sat upon it.
28:3His countenance was like lightning, and his clothing as white as snow.His countenance was like lightning, and his raiment white as snow:
28:4And the guards shook for fear of him, and became like dead men.And for fear of him the keepers did shake, and became as dead men.
28:5But the angel responded and said to the women, "Do not be afraid, because I know that you seek Jesus who was crucified.And the angel answered and said unto the women, Fear not ye: for I know that ye seek Jesus, which was crucified.
28:6He is not here; because He is risen, as He said. Come, see the place where the Lord lay.He is not here: for he is risen, as he said. Come, see the place where the Lord lay.
28:7And go quickly and tell His disciples that He is risen from the dead, and behold, He is going before you into Galilee; there you will see Him. Behold, I have told you."And go quickly, and tell his disciples that he is risen from the dead; and, behold, he goeth before you into Galilee; there shall ye see him: lo, I have told you.
28:8So they went out quickly from the tomb with fear and great joy, and ran to tell His disciples.And they departed quickly from the sepulchre with fear and great joy; and did run to bring his disciples word.
28:9And as they went to tell His disciples, behold, Jesus met them, saying, "Greetings." And they came and held Him by the feet and worshiped Him.And as they went to tell his disciples, behold, Jesus met them, saying, All hail. And they came and held him by the feet, and worshipped him.
28:10Then Jesus said to them, "Do not be afraid. Go and tell My brethren to go to Galilee, and there they will see Me."Then said Jesus unto them, Be not afraid: go tell my brethren that they go into Galilee, and there shall they see me.
28:11Now while they were going, behold, some of the guard came into the city, and reported to the chief priests all the things that had happened.Now when they were going, behold, some of the watch came into the city, and shewed unto the chief priests all the things that were done.
28:12When they had assembled with the elders and took counsel, they gave a large amount of money to the soldiers,And when they were assembled with the elders, and had taken counsel, they gave large money unto the soldiers,
28:20teaching them to observe all things that I have commanded you; and behold, I am with you always, even to the end of the age." Amen.Teaching them to observe all things whatsoever I have commanded you: and, lo, I am with you alway, even unto the end of the world. Amen.
28:19"Go therefore and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit,"Go ye therefore, and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost:
28:18And Jesus came and spoke to them, saying, "All authority has been given to Me in heaven and on earth."And Jesus came and spake unto them, saying, All power is given unto me in heaven and in earth.
28:17And when they saw Him, they worshiped Him; but some doubted.And when they saw him, they worshipped him: but some doubted.
