3:9But avoid foolish disputes, genealogies, contentions, and strivings about the law; because they are unprofitable and vain.But avoid foolish questions, and genealogies, and contentions, and strivings about the law; for they are unprofitable and vain.
3:10A person who is a heretic reject after the first and second admonition,A man that is an heretick after the first and second admonition reject;
3:11knowing that such a person is warped and sinning, being self condemned.Knowing that he that is such is subverted, and sinneth, being condemned of himself.
3:12When I send Artemas to you, or Tychicus, be diligent to come to me at Nicopolis, for I have decided to spend the winter there.When I shall send Artemas unto thee, or Tychicus, be diligent to come unto me to Nicopolis: for I have determined there to winter.
3:13Send Zenas the lawyer and Apollos on their journey with care, that they may lack nothing.Bring Zenas the lawyer and Apollos on their journey diligently, that nothing be wanting unto them.
3:14And let our people also learn to maintain good works for necessary uses, that they may not be unfruitful.And let ours also learn to maintain good works for necessary uses, that they be not unfruitful.

3:8This is a faithful saying, and these things I want you to affirm constantly, that those who have believed in God should be careful to maintain good works. These things are good and profitable to men.This is a faithful saying, and these things I will that thou affirm constantly, that they which have believed in God might be careful to maintain good works. These things are good and profitable unto men.
3:7that having been justified by His grace we should become heirs according to the hope of eternal life.That being justified by his grace, we should be made heirs according to the hope of eternal life.
3:6whom He poured out on us abundantly through Jesus Christ our Savior,Which he shed on us abundantly through Jesus Christ our Saviour;
3:5not by works of righteousness which we have done, but according to His mercy He saved us, through the washing of regeneration and renewing of the Holy Spirit,Not by works of righteousness which we have done, but according to his mercy he saved us, by the washing of regeneration, and renewing of the Holy Ghost;

3:2to speak evil of no one, not quarrelsome but gentle, showing all meekness to all men.To speak evil of no man, to be no brawlers, but gentle, shewing all meekness unto all men.
3:1Remind them to be subject to rulers and authorities, to obey magistrates, to be ready for every good work,Put them in mind to be subject to principalities and powers, to obey magistrates, to be ready to every good work,
