King James Bible PCE

15:9Because, I am the least of the apostles, who am not worthy to be called an apostle, because I persecuted the church of God.For I am the least of the apostles, that am not meet to be called an apostle, because I persecuted the church of God.
15:10But by the grace of God I am what I am, and His grace which was imparted to me was not in vain; but I labored more abundantly than they all, yet not I, but the grace of God which was with me.But by the grace of God I am what I am: and his grace which was bestowed upon me was not in vain; but I laboured more abundantly than they all: yet not I, but the grace of God which was with me.
15:11Therefore, whether it was I or they, so we preach and so you believed. Therefore whether it were I or they, so we preach, and so ye believed.
15:12Now if Christ is preached that He rose from the dead, how do some among you say that there is no resurrection of the dead? Now if Christ be preached that he rose from the dead, how say some among you that there is no resurrection of the dead?
15:13But if there is no resurrection of the dead, then Christ is not risen. But if there be no resurrection of the dead, then is Christ not risen:
15:14And if Christ is not risen, then our preaching is in vain and your faith is also in vain. And if Christ be not risen, then is our preaching vain, and your faith is also vain.
15:15Yes, and we are found to be false witnesses of God, because we have testified of God that He raised up Christ, whom He did not raise up, if in fact the dead do not rise.Yea, and we are found false witnesses of God; because we have testified of God that he raised up Christ: whom he raised not up, if so be that the dead rise not.
15:16Because, if the dead do not rise, then Christ is not risen. For if the dead rise not, then is not Christ raised:
15:17And if Christ is not risen, your faith is vain; you are still in your sins! And if Christ be not raised, your faith is vain; ye are yet in your sins.
15:18Then also those who have fallen asleep in Christ have perished. Then they also which are fallen asleep in Christ are perished.
15:19If in this life only we have hope in Christ, we are of all men the most miserable. If in this life only we have hope in Christ, we are of all men most miserable.
15:20But now Christ is risen from the dead, and has become the firstfruits of those who sleep. But now is Christ risen from the dead, and become the firstfruits of them that slept.
15:21Because, since by man came death, by Man also came the resurrection of the dead. For since by man came death, by man came also the resurrection of the dead.
15:22Because as in Adam all die, even so in Christ all will be made alive. For as in Adam all die, even so in Christ shall all be made alive.
15:23But each one in his own order: Christ the firstfruits, afterward those who are Christ's at His coming. But every man in his own order: Christ the firstfruits; afterward they that are Christ's at his coming.
15:24Then comes the end, when He will have delivered the kingdom to God, even the Father, when He puts down all rule and all authority and power. Then cometh the end, when he shall have delivered up the kingdom to God, even the Father; when he shall have put down all rule and all authority and power.
15:25Because, He must reign until He has put all enemies under His feet. For he must reign, till he hath put all enemies under his feet.
15:26The last enemy that will be destroyed is death. The last enemy that shall be destroyed is death.
15:27Because "He has put all things under His feet." But when He says "all things are put under Him," it is evident that He who put all things under Him is the exception. For he hath put all things under his feet. But when he saith, all things are put under him, it is manifest that he is excepted, which did put all things under him.
15:28Now when all things are made subject to Him, then the Son Himself will also be subject to Him who put all things under Him, that God may be all in all.And when all things shall be subdued unto him, then shall the Son also himself be subject unto him that put all things under him, that God may be all in all.
15:29Otherwise, what shall they do who are baptized for the dead, if the dead do not rise at all? Why then are they baptized for the dead?Else what shall they do which are baptized for the dead, if the dead rise not at all? why are they then baptized for the dead?
15:30And why do we stand in danger every hour? And why stand we in jeopardy every hour?
15:31I affirm, by the boasting which I have in Christ Jesus our Lord, I die daily.I protest by your rejoicing which I have in Christ Jesus our Lord, I die daily.
15:32If, in the manner of men, I have fought with beasts at Ephesus, what advantage is it to me? If the dead do not rise, "Let us eat and drink, because tomorrow we die!"If after the manner of men I have fought with beasts at Ephesus, what advantageth it me, if the dead rise not? let us eat and drink; for to morrow we die.
15:33Do not be deceived: "Evil company corrupts good morals."Be not deceived: evil communications corrupt good manners.
15:34Awake to righteousness, and do not sin; because some do not have the knowledge of God. I speak this to your shame.Awake to righteousness, and sin not; for some have not the knowledge of God: I speak this to your shame.
15:35But someone will say, "How are the dead raised up? And with what body do they come?"But some man will say, How are the dead raised up? and with what body do they come?
15:36Foolish one, what you sow is not made alive unless it dies.Thou fool, that which thou sowest is not quickened, except it die:
15:37And what you sow, you do not sow that body that will be, but mere grain, perhaps wheat or some other grain. And that which thou sowest, thou sowest not that body that shall be, but bare grain, it may chance of wheat, or of some other grain:
15:8Then last of all He was seen by me also, as by one born out of due time. And last of all he was seen of me also, as of one born out of due time.
15:7After that He was seen by James, then by all the apostles. After that, he was seen of James; then of all the apostles.
15:6After that He was seen by over five hundred brethren at once, of whom the greater part remain to the present, but some have fallen asleep. After that, he was seen of above five hundred brethren at once; of whom the greater part remain unto this present, but some are fallen asleep.
15:5and that He was seen by Cephas, then by the twelve. And that he was seen of Cephas, then of the twelve:
15:4and that He was buried, and that He rose again the third day according to the Scriptures,And that he was buried, and that he rose again the third day according to the scriptures:
15:3Because, I delivered to you first of all that which I also received: how Christ died for our sins according to the Scriptures,For I delivered unto you first of all that which I also received, how that Christ died for our sins according to the scriptures;
15:2by which also you are saved, if you keep in memory that which I preached to you, unless you have believed in vain.By which also ye are saved, if ye keep in memory what I preached unto you, unless ye have believed in vain.
15:1Moreover, brethren, I declare to you the gospel which I preached to you, which also you received and in which you stand,Moreover, brethren, I declare unto you the gospel which I preached unto you, which also ye have received, and wherein ye stand;
15:38But God gives it a body as it has pleased Him, and to each seed its own body. But God giveth it a body as it hath pleased him, and to every seed his own body.
15:47The first man was of the earth, made of dust; the second Man is the Lord from heaven. The first man is of the earth, earthy: the second man is the Lord from heaven.
15:48As was the man of dust, so also are those who are made of dust; and as is the heavenly Man, so also are those who are heavenly. As is the earthy, such are they also that are earthy: and as is the heavenly, such are they also that are heavenly.
15:49And as we have borne the image of the man of dust, we will also bear the image of the Heavenly. And as we have borne the image of the earthy, we shall also bear the image of the heavenly.
15:50Now this I say, brethren, that flesh and blood cannot inherit the kingdom of God; nor does corruption inherit incorruption. Now this I say, brethren, that flesh and blood cannot inherit the kingdom of God; neither doth corruption inherit incorruption.
15:51Behold, I show you a mystery: We will not all sleep, but we will all be changed,Behold, I shew you a mystery; We shall not all sleep, but we shall all be changed,
15:52in a moment, in the twinkling of an eye, at the last trumpet. Because, the trumpet will sound, and the dead will be raised incorruptible, and we will be changed. In a moment, in the twinkling of an eye, at the last trump: for the trumpet shall sound, and the dead shall be raised incorruptible, and we shall be changed.
15:53Because, this corruptible must put on incorruption, and this mortal must put on immortality. For this corruptible must put on incorruption, and this mortal must put on immortality.
15:54So when this corruptible has put on incorruption, and this mortal has put on immortality, then will be brought to pass the saying that is written: "Death is swallowed up in victory."So when this corruptible shall have put on incorruption, and this mortal shall have put on immortality, then shall be brought to pass the saying that is written, Death is swallowed up in victory.
15:55"O Death, where is your sting? O grave, where is your victory?"O death, where is thy sting? O grave, where is thy victory?
15:56The sting of death is sin, and the strength of sin is the law.The sting of death is sin; and the strength of sin is the law.
15:57But thanks be to God, who gives us the victory through our Lord Jesus Christ. But thanks be to God, which giveth us the victory through our Lord Jesus Christ.
15:58Therefore, my beloved brethren, be steadfast, immovable, always abounding in the work of the Lord, knowing that your labor is not in vain in the Lord. Therefore, my beloved brethren, be ye stedfast, unmoveable, always abounding in the work of the Lord, forasmuch as ye know that your labour is not in vain in the Lord.
15:39All flesh is not the same flesh, but there is one kind of flesh of men, another flesh of animals, another of fish, and another of birds. All flesh is not the same flesh: but there is one kind of flesh of men, another flesh of beasts, another of fishes, and another of birds.
15:40There are also celestial bodies and terrestrial bodies; but the glory of the celestial is one, and the glory of the terrestrial is another. There are also celestial bodies, and bodies terrestrial: but the glory of the celestial is one, and the glory of the terrestrial is another.
15:41There is one glory of the sun, another glory of the moon, and another glory of the stars; because one star differs from another star in glory. There is one glory of the sun, and another glory of the moon, and another glory of the stars: for one star differeth from another star in glory.
15:42So also is the resurrection of the dead. The body is sown in corruption, it is raised in incorruption. So also is the resurrection of the dead. It is sown in corruption; it is raised in incorruption:
15:43It is sown in dishonor, it is raised in glory. It is sown in weakness, it is raised in power. It is sown in dishonour; it is raised in glory: it is sown in weakness; it is raised in power:
15:44It is sown a natural body, it is raised a spiritual body. There is a natural body, and there is a spiritual body.It is sown a natural body; it is raised a spiritual body. There is a natural body, and there is a spiritual body.
15:45And so it is written, "The first man Adam became a living soul." The last Adam became a life giving spirit. And so it is written, The first man Adam was made a living soul; the last Adam was made a quickening spirit.
15:46However, the spiritual is not first, but the natural, and afterward that which is spiritual.Howbeit that was not first which is spiritual, but that which is natural; and afterward that which is spiritual.
