19:9 | And Jesus said to him, "Today salvation has come to this house, because he also is the son of Abraham;" | And Jesus said unto him, This day is salvation come to this house, forsomuch as he also is a son of Abraham. |
19:10 | because the Son of Man has come to seek and to save that which was lost." | For the Son of man is come to seek and to save that which was lost. |

Thou knewest that I was an austere man, taking up that I laid not down, and reaping that I did not sow: |
19:23 | Why then did you not put my money in the bank, that at my coming I might have collected my own with interest?'" | Wherefore then gavest not thou my money into the bank, that at my coming I might have required mine own with usury? |
19:24 | "And he said to those who stood by, 'Take the mina from him, and give it to him who has ten minas.'" | And he said unto them that stood by, Take from him the pound, and give it to him that hath ten pounds. |
19:25 | (they said to him, 'Master, he has ten minas.')" | (And they said unto him, Lord, he hath ten pounds.) |
19:26 | 'Because, I say to you, that to everyone who has will be given; and from him who does not have, even what he has will be taken away from him." | For I say unto you, That unto every one which hath shall be given; and from him that hath not, even that he hath shall be taken away from him. |

19:30 | saying, "Go into the village opposite you, in which as you enter you will find a colt tied, on which no one has ever sat. 19:31 | And if anyone asks you, 'Why are you loosing it?' you shall say this to him, 'Because the Lord has need of it.'" | And if any man ask you, Why do ye loose him? thus shall ye say unto him, Because the Lord hath need of him. |
19:32 | So those who were sent went their way and found it just as He had said to them. | And they that were sent went their way, and found even as he had said unto them. |
19:33 | And as they were loosing the colt, the owners of it said to them, "Why are you loosing the colt?" | And as they were loosing the colt, the owners thereof said unto them, Why loose ye the colt? |
19:34 | So they said, "The Lord has need of him." | And they said, The Lord hath need of him. |
19:35 | Then they brought him to Jesus. And they threw their clothes on the colt, and they set Jesus on him. | And they brought him to Jesus: and they cast their garments upon the colt, and they set Jesus thereon. |
19:36 | And as He went, they spread their clothes on the road. | And as he went, they spread their clothes in the way. |
19:37 | Then, as He was drawing near, that is, already at the descent of the Mount of Olives, the entire multitude of the disciples began to rejoice and praise God with a loud voice for all the mighty works that they had seen, | And when he was come nigh, even now at the descent of the mount of Olives, the whole multitude of the disciples began to rejoice and praise God with a loud voice for all the mighty works that they had seen; |
19:38 | saying: "'Blessed is the King who comes in the name of the LORD!' Peace in heaven and glory in the highest!" | Saying, Blessed be the King that cometh in the name of the Lord: peace in heaven, and glory in the highest. |
19:39 | And from the crowd some of the Pharisees said to Him, "Teacher, rebuke Your disciples." | And some of the Pharisees from among the multitude said unto him, Master, rebuke thy disciples. |
19:40 | But He replied and said to them, "I tell you that if these should keep silent, the stones would immediately shout out." | And he answered and said unto them, I tell you that, if these should hold their peace, the stones would immediately cry out. |
19:41 | Now as He drew near, He saw the city and wept over it, | And when he was come near, he beheld the city, and wept over it, |
19:42 | saying, "If you had known, even you, especially in this your day, the things that are for your peace! But now they are hidden from your eyes." | Saying, If thou hadst known, even thou, at least in this thy day, the things which belong unto thy peace! but now they are hid from thine eyes. |
19:43 | Because, the days will come upon you when your enemies will build an embankment around you, surround you and close you in on every side," | For the days shall come upon thee, that thine enemies shall cast a trench about thee, and compass thee round, and keep thee in on every side, |
19:44 | and level you, and your children within you, to the ground; and they will not leave in you one stone upon another, because you did not know the time of your visitation." | And shall lay thee even with the ground, and thy children within thee; and they shall not leave in thee one stone upon another; because thou knewest not the time of thy visitation. |
19:45 | Then He went into the temple and began to drive out those who sold and those who bought in it, | And he went into the temple, and began to cast out them that sold therein, and them that bought; |
19:46 | saying to them, "It is written, 'My house is a house of prayer,' but you have made it a 'den of thieves.'" | Saying unto them, It is written, My house is the house of prayer: but ye have made it a den of thieves. |
19:47 | And He was teaching daily in the temple. But the chief priests, the scribes, and the leaders of the people sought to destroy Him, | And he taught daily in the temple. But the chief priests and the scribes and the chief of the people sought to destroy him, |
19:48 | and were unable to do anything; because all the people were very attentive to hear Him. | And could not find what they might do: for all the people were very attentive to hear him. |

19:18 | And the second came, saying, 'Master, your mina has earned five minas.'" | And the second came, saying, Lord, thy pound hath gained five pounds. |

19:20 | "Then another came, saying, 'Master, look, here is your mina, which I have kept put away in a handkerchief." | And another came, saying, Lord, behold, here is thy pound, which I have kept laid up in a napkin: |
19:21 | Because, I feared you, since you are a harsh man. You collect what you did not lay down, and reap what you did not sow.'" | For I feared thee, because thou art an austere man: thou takest up that thou layedst not down, and reapest that thou didst not sow. |
