16:1 | Then I heard a loud voice from the temple saying to the seven angels, "Go your way and pour out the bowls of the wrath of God upon the earth." | And I heard a great voice out of the temple saying to the seven angels, Go your ways, and pour out the vials of the wrath of God upon the earth. |
16:2 | So the first went and poured out his bowl upon the earth, and a dreadful and harmful sore came upon the men who had the mark of the beast and upon those who worshiped his image. | And the first went, and poured out his vial upon the earth; and there fell a noisome and grievous sore upon the men which had the mark of the beast, and upon them which worshipped his image. |

16:8 | Then the fourth angel poured out his bowl upon the sun, and authority was given to him to scorch men with fire. | And the fourth angel poured out his vial upon the sun; and power was given unto him to scorch men with fire. |
16:9 | And men were scorched with intense heat, and blasphemed the name of God who has authority over these calamities; and they did not repent to give Him glory. | And men were scorched with great heat, and blasphemed the name of God, which hath power over these plagues: and they repented not to give him glory. |
