King James Bible PCE

2:9Because, in Him dwells all the fullness of the Godhead bodily;For in him dwelleth all the fulness of the Godhead bodily.
2:10and you are complete in Him, who is the head of all principality and power.And ye are complete in him, which is the head of all principality and power:
2:11In Him you were also circumcised with the circumcision made without hands, by putting off the body of the sins of the flesh, by the circumcision of Christ,In whom also ye are circumcised with the circumcision made without hands, in putting off the body of the sins of the flesh by the circumcision of Christ:
2:12buried with Him in baptism, in which you also were raised with Him through the faith of the working of God, who has raised Him from the dead.Buried with him in baptism, wherein also ye are risen with him through the faith of the operation of God, who hath raised him from the dead.
2:13And you, being dead in your sins and the uncircumcision of your flesh, He has made alive together with Him, having forgiven you all trespasses,And you, being dead in your sins and the uncircumcision of your flesh, hath he quickened together with him, having forgiven you all trespasses;
2:14having erased the written record of commands that were against us, which was contrary to us, and took it out of the way, nailing it to the cross.Blotting out the handwriting of ordinances that was against us, which was contrary to us, and took it out of the way, nailing it to his cross;
2:15Having disarmed principalities and powers, He made a spectacle of them, triumphing over them in it.And having spoiled principalities and powers, he made a shew of them openly, triumphing over them in it.
2:16Therefore let no man judge you in food or in drink, or regarding a holyday, or of the new moon, or of the sabbath days,Let no man therefore judge you in meat, or in drink, or in respect of an holyday, or of the new moon, or of the sabbath days:
2:17which are a shadow of things to come, but the body is of Christ.Which are a shadow of things to come; but the body is of Christ.
2:18Let no one rob you of your reward, delighting in false humility and worship of angels, meddling into those things which he has not seen, vainly puffed up by his fleshly mind,Let no man beguile you of your reward in a voluntary humility and worshipping of angels, intruding into those things which he hath not seen, vainly puffed up by his fleshly mind,
2:19And not clinging to the Head, from whom all the body, nourished and knit together by joints and ligaments, increases with the increase from God.And not holding the Head, from which all the body by joints and bands having nourishment ministered, and knit together, increaseth with the increase of God.
2:20Therefore, if you are dead with Christ from the basic principles of the world, why, as though living in the world, are you subject to regulations,Wherefore if ye be dead with Christ from the rudiments of the world, why, as though living in the world, are ye subject to ordinances,
2:21("Do not touch, do not taste, do not handle,"(Touch not; taste not; handle not;
2:22which all concern things which perish with the using) according to the commandments and doctrines of men?Which all are to perish with the using;) after the commandments and doctrines of men?
2:23These things certainly have an appearance of wisdom in self imposed worship and humility, and neglecting of the body, but have no value against the indulgence of the flesh.Which things have indeed a shew of wisdom in will worship, and humility, and neglecting of the body; not in any honour to the satisfying of the flesh.
2:8Beware lest anyone rob you through philosophy and vain deceit, according to the tradition of men, according to the basic principles of the world, and not according to Christ.Beware lest any man spoil you through philosophy and vain deceit, after the tradition of men, after the rudiments of the world, and not after Christ.
2:7rooted and built up in Him and established in the faith, just as you have been taught, abounding in it with thanksgiving.Rooted and built up in him, and stablished in the faith, as ye have been taught, abounding therein with thanksgiving.
2:6Therefore, as you have received Christ Jesus the Lord, so walk in Him,As ye have therefore received Christ Jesus the Lord, so walk ye in him:
2:5Because, though I am absent in the flesh, yet I am with you in the spirit, rejoicing to see your order and the firmness of your faith in Christ.For though I be absent in the flesh, yet am I with you in the spirit, joying and beholding your order, and the stedfastness of your faith in Christ.
2:4Now this I say lest anyone should deceive you with persuasive words.And this I say, lest any man should beguile you with enticing words.
2:3in whom are hidden all the treasures of wisdom and knowledge.In whom are hid all the treasures of wisdom and knowledge.
2:2that their hearts may be encouraged, being knit together in love, and attaining to all the riches of the full assurance of understanding, to the knowledge of the mystery of God, both of the Father and of Christ,That their hearts might be comforted, being knit together in love, and unto all riches of the full assurance of understanding, to the acknowledgement of the mystery of God, and of the Father, and of Christ;
2:1Because, I want you to know what a great conflict I have for you and for those in Laodicea, and for as many as have not seen my face in the flesh,For I would that ye knew what great conflict I have for you, and for them at Laodicea, and for as many as have not seen my face in the flesh;
