| 3:1 | O foolish Galatians! Who has bewitched you that you should not obey the truth, before whose eyes Jesus Christ was clearly portrayed among you as crucified? | O foolish Galatians, who hath bewitched you, that ye should not obey the truth, before whose eyes Jesus Christ hath been evidently set forth, crucified among you? |
| 3:2 | This only I want to learn from you: Did you receive the Spirit by the works of the law, or by the hearing of faith? | This only would I learn of you, Received ye the Spirit by the works of the law, or by the hearing of faith? |
| 3:3 | Are you so foolish? Having begun in the Spirit, are you now being made perfect by the flesh? | Are ye so foolish? having begun in the Spirit, are ye now made perfect by the flesh? |
| 3:4 | Have you suffered so many things in vain, if indeed it was in vain? | Have ye suffered so many things in vain? if it be yet in vain. |
| 3:5 | Therefore He who supplies the Spirit to you and works miracles among you, does He do it by the works of the law, or by the hearing of faith? | He therefore that ministereth to you the Spirit, and worketh miracles among you, doeth he it by the works of the law, or by the hearing of faith? |
| 3:6 | Just as Abraham "believed God, and it was accounted to him for righteousness." | Even as Abraham believed God, and it was accounted to him for righteousness. |
| 3:7 | Therefore know that those who are of faith, the same are children of Abraham. | Know ye therefore that they which are of faith, the same are the children of Abraham. |
| 3:8 | And the Scripture, foreseeing that God would justify the Gentiles through faith, preached the gospel to Abraham beforehand, saying, "In you all the nations will be blessed." | And the scripture, foreseeing that God would justify the heathen through faith, preached before the gospel unto Abraham, saying, In thee shall all nations be blessed. |

| 3:11 | But that no one is justified by the law in the sight of God is evident, because "the just will live by faith." | But that no man is justified by the law in the sight of God, it is evident: for, The just shall live by faith. |
| 3:12 | Yet the law is not of faith, but "the man who does them will live in them." | And the law is not of faith: but, The man that doeth them shall live in them. |
| 3:13 | Christ has redeemed us from the curse of the law, having become a curse for us (because it is written, "Cursed is everyone who hangs on a tree"), | Christ hath redeemed us from the curse of the law, being made a curse for us: for it is written, Cursed is every one that hangeth on a tree: |

| 3:16 | Now to Abraham and his Seed were the promises made.
