King James Bible 2016

6:1What shall we say then? Shall we continue in sin that grace may abound?
6:2God forbid! How shall we who died to sin live any longer in it?
6:3Or do you not know that as many of us as were baptized into Jesus Christ were baptized into His death?
6:4Therefore we were buried with Him by baptism into death, that just as Christ was raised up from the dead by the glory of the Father, even so we also should walk in newness of life.
6:5Because, if we have been planted together in the likeness of His death, we will be also in the likeness of His resurrection,
6:6knowing this, that our old man was crucified with Him, that the body of sin might be destroyed, that we should no longer serve sin.
6:7Because he who has died has been freed from sin.
6:8Now if we died with Christ, we believe that we will also live with Him,
6:9knowing that Christ, having been raised from the dead, dies no more. Death no longer has dominion over Him.
6:10Because, in the death that He died, He died to sin once; but the life that He lives, He lives to God.
6:11Likewise you also, reckon yourselves to be dead indeed to sin, but alive to God in Jesus Christ our Lord.
6:12Therefore do not let sin reign in your mortal body, that you should obey it in its lusts.
6:13And do not present your members as instruments of unrighteousness to sin, but present yourselves to God as those who are alive from the dead, and your members as instruments of righteousness to God.
6:14Because, sin will not have dominion over you, because you are not under law but under grace.
6:15What then? Shall we sin because we are not under law but under grace? God forbid!
6:16Do you not know that to whom you present yourselves servants to obey, you are that one's servant whom you obey, whether of sin leading to death, or of obedience leading to righteousness?
6:17But God be thanked that though you were servants of sin, yet you obeyed from the heart that form of doctrine which was delivered to you.
6:18And having been set free from sin, you became servants of righteousness.
6:19I speak in human terms because of the weakness of your flesh. Because, just as you presented your members as servants of uncleanness, and of iniquity leading to more iniquity, so now present your members as servants of righteousness for holiness.
6:20Because when you were servants of sin, you were free from righteousness.
6:21What fruit did you have then in the things of which you are now ashamed? Because the end of those things is death.
6:22But now having been set free from sin, and having become servants of God, you have your fruit to holiness, and the end, everlasting life.
6:23Because, the wages of sin is death, but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord.
